It is said that December 21, 2012 is the doomsday, but finally it turned out to be a rumor. Anyway, in order to mark a great end of 2012 and to usher in the new year. I spended the last day of 2012 in Macau. Where to go? Just follow me!
Taking the free shuttle bus of Grand Lisboa, so that I can get to the Macau attractions easily.

Grand Lisboa Hotel is not far away from  Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro. It took me about 10 minutes to get to the landmark of Macau - Ruins of St. Paul's. On the way to Ruins of St. Paul's, I went to the Margret's Cafe e Nata to enjoy 2 Portuguese-style egg tarts.

Before getting to the Ruins of St. Paul, I took photoes in Largo do Senado, St. Lawrence's Church and The Official Provisional Municipal Council of Macau.

Passing through a street of specialties, I got to the Ruins of St. Paul's.
The Ruins of St. Paul's refer to the facade of what was originally the Church of Mater Dei built in 1602-1640, destroyed by fire in 1835, and the ruins of St. Paul's College, which stood adjacent to the Church. As a whole, the old Church of Mater Dei, St. Paul's College and Mount Fortress were all Jesuit constructions and formed what can be perceived as the Macau's "acropolis". Close by, the archaeological remains of the old College of St. Paul stand witness to what was the first western-style university in the Far East, with an elaborate academic programme. Nowadays, the facade of the Ruins of St. Paul's functions symbolically as an altar to the city.

I was so lucky to see the snow flakes falling in front of the Venetian Macau Resort Hotel. (The snow is artificially made)

City of Dreams is opposite to the Venetian Macau Resort Hotel. In City of Dreams, I enjoyed the show named Dragon's Treasure. The ticket price is MOP50.

The show is amazing. If you think that the ticket of The House of Dancing Water is too expensive, you can choose to watch the Dragon's Treasure.
The Galaxy Hotel is next to Venetian Macau. Right in the central hall, crystal glass columns catched my eye balls.

Through it was December 31, I could see the giant Santa in Galaxy Macau Hotel.
